Elements be ready!
Your sleepy spirit
slowly unwinds.
Its touch is gentle,
its force compelling,
you all are bound
to enter life's whirl.

How come that you write in English?
ReplyDeleteWhy shouldn't I? ;-)
ReplyDeleteWell, seriously, I have friends around the world and particularly in the US who wouldn't be able to read italian, while most of my Italian friends (if not all) are pretty comfortable with english.
best regards,
A.
Oh ok, I see.
ReplyDeleteI've been living in the U.S for five years (5!!!!), but I am not comfortable with English yet.
I am wondering if I will ever be. We'll see.
however, congratulations for your blog.
nice words and pics again. i like how these two are framed together. have a good long weekend you too!
ReplyDeleteThank's a lot!
ReplyDeleteThank you NĂ . Always a pleasure.
ReplyDeleteThese images remind me so much of maps from space. Interesting how the mirco mirrors the macro.
ReplyDeleteAlchemy!
Thanks for your thoughtfulness.

You're right K. This composition consists of two rock photos, shot at a moderate close up. They should symbolize the earth and the heaven, and as matter of fact "That which is above is as that which is below"....
ReplyDeletehave a nice day

being in this world really is compelling...this & the other post are like the twining of the mystical & the scientific...i could see DNA lining up in these words
ReplyDelete@ qualcosa di bello: thank you so much for your words. I am so glad you have tuned in with my intent here.
ReplyDeleteI loved this...your photographs are awesome. The texture is so beautiful! And seeing your comment about how they represent heaven and earth makes your words that more powerful.
ReplyDelete@ fledging poet: thank you for your comment and welcome to my blog. I'm happy you entered into the spirit of this poem. It is really not an easy one, almost scientific I'd say. It doesn't speak of human passion or of common experiences, but of the inner belief of the spirit evolving (=unwinding) again from the "prison" it was once curled into.
ReplyDeleteElemental!
