Skewed, part II

D300 - 22 mm, 1/100 sec f/5.0, ISO 200

I am apparently not tuned or synced to the world yet, and I start doubting I'll ever be. Why do we always have to look at the half empty glass? Even when it is not true, an evil force makes the dark outweigh the light in our mind.

  1. How we see thing is a choice, dear -a-c-. But remember that a single flash can dispel the darkness, though it is necessary that there be darkness to develop the image. We are this image.

Negativity and positivity are forever placed before us. Choose the positive. Even on those days that may not seem so hopeful, chose light. Hope springs eternal. Love is.

"And now abide hope, faith and love, these three, but the greatest of these is love." (I Cor. 13:13) Love causes us to see the glass as half full. You are loved.

  2. when i see your work, i believe the opposite of what you say to be true. you allow the light to shine through the darkness in what you present here. judith says it better than i am able to this morning...

  4. Yes, -a-c-, I too am among those who have days where the picture is not clear and it is on these days that I insist on mind over emotions, knowing this too shall pass.
