  4. @ qualcosa di bello:
for the record, the person was looking in. It was shot at the Irish Famine memorial, Battery Park, NY.

per quanto riguarda il dimenticare, sapessi di cosa sono capace in un weekend! ;-)

  5. Haven't visited this park myself, but the picture and your words made me think of how many parallels there exist in peoples' lives even when they are not connected themselves.

  6. At first I thought this was the Vietnam Memorial. Similar ideas, but the imagery and poem in this post fit so beautifully together. That's the only word that keeps coming to mind when looking at your site! Bellisima! (that's italian, right?)

  7. @ pooja: a very interesting remark, and the recent events are dramatically showing how true this is.

@ kristin: thank you Kristin. Indeed words and photos are mutually inspired, although most of the times I start from the photo.

  10. History is rife with uncertainty and clarity, war and peace. History is not so much a discovery, as the present is often a mystery. But the heart always knows now, in the moment, even as it remembers the past and hopes for the future.

-a-c-, Your words and photos are most inspiring. I come here often for the beauty herein. I too thank you.

  11. I have not been around for a while, and now I am again moved by your art!

Especially by this photo -I confess I was just staring it for a few minutes... Only then I could read your words. :)
