Words snapshots & photographic poems
wow! that is some amazing erosion in words & photo.(love your new header photo too!)
Interesting picture, it reminds me of Wyoming a bit which I visited last year...
Amazing! Haunting words, and I really love that picture. Fascinating.
Interesting how we so often try to hide from our feeling instead of embracing them. Good to see your images and read your words once again!
That shot without words is amazing, add the words and the entire thing is sublime. Really great composition AC.
profound and sad - the picture the perfectmarriage AC.
I love you all, dear friends. It is always a great pleasure to read your comments and reaction. I hope I'll be able to intrigue your minds in the future.a big hugA.
Amazing work, photography and poem. Thank you, AC. You are incredibly gifted. I love coming through.
That is an amazing formation. Where is this?
Thank you Judith & spacedlaw. As you noticed, the beauty of this picture is not my doing but the desert which was taken. It is located in Western Australia, For the curious: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pinnacles_Desert
I should have known it. Australia is great for such pictures. I lived there for nearly a year, mostly in the Outback.
The sky and earth are so close. How can those in between hide in blinding light or clouds of grey? Loneliness is present in sunshine or shadow with others or alone. As I look at the pictures and read the words again and again I can't help but to think of essential elements: earth, sky and we. But there are no footsteps in the sand.
Yes, Australia fostered many thoughts and inspirations. Indeed Judith, there are no footsteps... hence the solitude.
