Waiting for...

D300 - 300 mm, 1/340 sec f/11, ISO 200

In time I have found

the meaning of my impatience,

justification to my efforts,

the emptiness of illusions.

But what I'm waiting for still eludes me

and it isn't a matter of time.

  1. [ Nel tempo ho trovato
    il significato della mia impazienza,
    la giustificazione dei mei sforzi,
    il vuoto delle illusioni.
Eppure cio' che cerco ancora mi sfugge
e non e' un problema di tempo]

  3. I know, isn't that so true... This shot is incredible! The contrast is amazing. And I love the thought provoking stance of the gull.

  6. He looks like he is waiting for the tide to come in, doesn't he?

I love the words, they mean so much more - beautiful.

  7. Thank you, dear friends. Most of the praise goes to the seagull though.
As for my words.. I don't know. These aren't as significant as I like them to be.... maybe I should think them again. Has it ever occurred to you that words that had a meaning one day sound odd the day after?

  8. Sometimes, AC, these are, in fact, the best, those words that seemed not to have a landing for us. I smiled infinitely reading these words and looking at the photo. Thank you.

  9. You are so gifted, AC. I love it too that you simply do not let your gifts be; you work on them endlessly. This shows and we're really happy because of it.

  11. Deep, thought-provoking, the meaning of my
impatience. People say I'm patient, but inside
-- not. This little creature is adorable!
