Beautiful! Emma Kirby has a quite a lovely voice and I how I love Purcell. The calmness of a steady stream calls forth such purity of tone. But I should also like to see a raging ocean and hear the rich vibrato of variance, notable abundance, too.
AC, I really like how the music complemented the photos. Their voices together are like a tumbling brook, the way they rise and fall and join together again. I could stare at that photo for hours. Beautiful!
@Fabio: sono troppo belli i ricordi di quei posti per non darne risalto.
@ Judith: I'm happy you concur with the choice. You won't have to wait too long to see some raging ocean too.
@ Kristin & Gautami: Thanks... this shot was taken down a canyon in Australia, while roaming through one of their most stunning national parks: the Karijini (WA). The silence and peace were filled only by the sound of the water, reverberating throughout the canyon.

Ah, Emma Kirkby, I love her pure voice.... Beautiful photo too!
ReplyDelete@ Catvibe: you have a trained ear. Emma's voice is lovely, and this is among my favorite Purcell's duets. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteNon c'รจ che dire...foto e musica non potevano essere accoppiate meglio...complimenti!
